Arrival & departure
Plan the hours between landing and check-in.
Long gaps are where trips go wrong: an early landing with the room not ready until 15:00, or an 11:00 checkout with a flight that evening. Amicly plans those hours around your bags, your group and your energy, and tells you when to leave.

Example 1 · arriving
Landing at 08:30, room at 15:00
Two adults, one child, three bags, energy set to “easy”. That leaves 6 h 30 min to fill before check-in.
Example plan. Times and prices are illustrations, not checked for your dates.

Example 2 · leaving
Checkout at 11:00, flight at 22:40
An international flight, so Amicly works out that you should be at the airport by 19:40. The transfer is estimated at about 50 minutes, so you should leave by 18:35. That leaves 8 h 40 min between checkout and the airport.
Example plan. The transfer time is an AI estimate, not checked live.

- Lunch and one last neighbourhood
- A museum or a long café stop
- Early dinner near the hotel
- Collect bags and leave for the airportLeave-by, calculated: be there by 19:40, minus about 50 min transfer (AI estimate, not checked live) and 15 min for traffic

What you tell Amicly
- Times: when you land and when you can check in, or when you check out and when your flight or train leaves.
- Where: the city, the airport or station, and roughly where you’re staying (a neighbourhood is enough).
- Your group: adults, children and their ages.
- Bags, so the plan deals with them first.
- Energy: easy, normal or “make the most of it”. And a budget.
What’s calculated, and what’s estimated
- Calculated by fixed rules: when to be at the airport or station. That’s 3 hours before an international flight, 2 hours before a domestic one and 30 minutes before a train. If you don’t say which, Amicly assumes international and tells you. Always follow your airline’s advice.
- Calculated from an estimate: your leave-by time. It’s the airport time minus the transfer and a traffic margin of at least 15 minutes, or 25% of a long journey.
- Estimated by the AI, and labelled: the transfer time and what to do in between. Neither is checked live, so check the journey before you go.
